FAQs
What does the LumaRest Heated Eye Mask do?
LumaRest uses gentle, soothing heat to help you relax after screen time, long workdays, or before bed.
Can it help with tired or dry-feeling eyes?
Yes. Like a warm compress, the gentle heat helps loosen the natural oils along your lash line, which can leave eyes feeling more comfortable and refreshed. It’s made for everyday relaxation, but it’s not a substitute for medical care.
How hot does it get?
It has three heat settings: Low: 45°C / 113°F; Medium: 55°C / 131°F; High: 62°C / 143.6°F. Start with the lowest setting and increase only if comfortable.
How long does each session last?
Each session lasts 15 minutes and then shuts off automatically to help prevent overuse.
Can I use it while sleeping?
It is designed for short relaxation sessions, with the option to rest in it as the automatic shutoff turns the mask off after 15 minutes.
Is it cordless?
Yes. LumaRest is cordless and rechargeable, so you can use it without staying near an outlet.
How long does the battery last?
A full charge provides approximately 4–5 uses on the medium heat setting. Battery life may vary depending on the heat level and usage.
How long does it take to charge?
It takes approximately two hours to fully charge using the included Type-C charging cable.
Can I use it while it is charging?
For safety, use LumaRest only when it is unplugged and disconnected from the charger.
Is the eye mask adjustable?
Yes. The elastic strap is adjustable and designed to fit a variety of head sizes comfortably.
Does it block out light?
Yes. The mask is designed to provide light-blocking coverage for naps, bedtime, travel, and relaxation.
Can I wear it with glasses?
For the most comfortable fit, remove your glasses before using LumaRest. The mask is designed to rest directly over the eye area.
Is the cover washable?
Yes. The outer cover is detachable and washable. Remove the electronic heating insert before cleaning, and make sure the cover is completely dry before reassembling.
Can I use it with skincare?
Yes. Apply a small amount of eye-safe skincare before using the mask. The gentle warmth can help it absorb while making your skincare routine feel more relaxing. Avoid using too much product so it does not transfer onto the mask.
Who should avoid using it?
Do not use it over irritated, injured, infected, or recently treated eyes. Stop using it if you experience discomfort, excessive heat, or irritation. If you have an eye condition or recently had eye surgery, ask a healthcare professional before use.
